LysisTech provides solutions in all aspects related to IoT connectivity. That involves the connection between all the points in an IoT ecosystem, such as sensors, gateways, routers, applications, platforms and other systems. LysisTech provides network solutions based on their power consumption, range and bandwidth requirements per use case.

Typical parameters include:

• What type or amount of data will be sent and what are the bandwidth requirements to support this.
• How much latency is tolerable.
• How far is data being sent.
• How often is data being sent.
• How many devices are on the network.
• How many sensors are in use etc.

Expertise

Expertise offered includes Hardware Design, Firmware Development, and Middleware. Hardware Development addresses data collection from all kinds of sensors (analog or digital). Firmware involves mainly Interprocessor Communication and serial protocols such as I2C, SPI, RS485, RS232 etc. Middleware involves RF communications with ISM band protocols (6LowPan, THREAD, LORAWAN, BT, WiFi etc.).

IoT Connectivity is a market dominated mainly by SMEs with significant fragmentation. Major players provide the ingredients but not the solution. LysisTech has particular experience in seawater installations where competition is very limited.
